Sahaydari range is nearest and my favorite range for week-end drive away from Surat.This was found in Maharashtra near Gujarat border.
Canon 550 D= 400mm f/5.6 L USM.

400mm, f-5.6,t-1/500,ISO-1000.
Hand held and cropped.

Lovely sighting. Good to know that it is easy for you to drive on weekends. It would have been great if the bird was perched on the other branch, as its leg is blocked by the branch in front. Light seems to be pretty low. In good light, this would have looked much better. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more.
