We climbed up on the rocky ledges, layered on each other rising to form the massive hillocks, amongst dry thorn (bel) trees and bushes. On top of one of the massive ledges we came face to face with this wild leopard. The sighting was for a minute, with the dawn sun glinting in its eyes. It was an electric moment.
Shot with the Nikon D90, Nikkor 70-300mm, 300mm, ISO 640, 1/400s - F/6.3

Lovely sighting. I liked the pose and the eye contact. There seems to be some loss of details. Is this a crop? Thanks for sharing.

Yes Mrudul, its a 30% crop.

Also I guess my PP skills are still fledgling...have not managed to get rid of the noise in the bg.

nice one. images of half hidden leopards are always nice..reflecting the reclusive ways of this perfect predator.
