Nice light. Good eye contact. As it is turned towards left, having more space on the left would have enhanced the composition further. Please check the AF point, is it locked on the leaves? Which lens do you use? Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for your suggestion. Murdul the focus was on the body at the red spot. I think I have lost some sharpness while uploading, probably I did some mistake while resizing the image. Anyway please check the attached 100% cropped image.

I have used Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM + Canon 1.4x Extender

Your Original Post has the image which is 799x554 pixels. Did you upload a file that is larger 300kb? The software automatically resizes images and you lose quality. How big was the AF point appearing? Did it cover the bird as well as the leaves?

May be that has happened, thanks for your suggestion. AF point was only on the body, please see the attachment. I think leaf is lying on the same plane of focus.
