Rufous treepie in early morning

Treepie is now not seen in forest of south Gujarat, But in forest of east Gujarat can be spotted easily.

Nice perch. It is a bit difficult to get the eye in good focus when the head is away, as the focus is generally on the body. Wish the light was better. Nicely captured in difficult conditions. Thanks for sharing.

One can find rufous tree pie at very close distances in Ranthambhore. I think one of the reasons is that they are being fed by tourists and the guides. They even perch on the shoulders of people and feed on potato chips, bread etc.

It is difficult to get the entire bird in focus in this pose due to its long tail. So I would prefer to photograph this bird from a more side on pose. Thanks for sharing.
