One of my first mid-air photographs.

What is the name of this Gull sub-species?

Nice image of the bird in flight. It appears to me as Brown-headed Gull (Larus brunnicephalus) in winter colour. The head will become brown by March. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

P.S.: Nice that your lens is now scanning the sky like a radar.

Nice flight pose. Good eye contact. The underparts of the wing look nice. You could have used a higher ISO to get a higher shutter speed. Is this full frame? Where was this photographed? Thanks for sharing.

I agree with the previous comments. You need higher shutter speed as well as critical focus. This image is better than the other one, however, the sharpness should have been higher.

Why ISO 100? Is it because you were planning to do a large crop? By ISO 100 you are sacrificing shutter speed and hence sharpness.

Not a full frame. It's challenging to photograph birds in flight :-) Shot this at Bhigwan.
