While out walking one morning at a nearby lake, I came across this pair of black winged stilts. I got down on my stomach and crawled a little closer to photograph this affectionate duo.
Equipment : Nikon D40 with 70-300 VR. Handheld.
No special post production is done except cropping for composition and adjusting levels and curves.

Nice interaction captured. The low angle (lying down on your stomach :)) has added to the composition. Nice clean background. Do post the EXIF details like aperture, shutter speed and ISO to help in commenting. Thanks for sharing.

Worthy composition. Nice communication between the Two. As I look again and again, I find a three-dimensional effect. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Nice to see this. You have captured an interesting pose. The lower angle has resulted in a nice perspective and that enhances the image. I wish some more details. Except for expensive telephoto lenses, other lenses generally are sharper at f8 -f9. A narrow aperture in this case would have been even better. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,
