Deep inside Bera forest we came upon an ancient well and a cave. The myth was that 300 years back a ruler turned sadhu meditated and lived here. Peeking inside the well captured this sight.

Nice to see so many frogs in the well. The white marking on their body is nicely documented. Thanks for sharing.

The well and its own ecosystem. :) The middle portion seems to be a log?

Mostly in the monsoons we get to see many frogs and their crocking sounds. Earlier lot of frogs were captured and their legs exported however thankfully that has stopped. However, even today lot of people eat frog meat.
