Nice to see the Common Indian Monitor Lizard, also called Bengal Lizard (Varanus bengalensis).
In the Sundarbans we find two species: Varanus salvtor and Varanus flavescens.

Nice composition having the lizard peeping out of trunk hole and the habitat. Colours look natural. Nice feel of the forest. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Liked the way it is peeking out of the trunk hole. Nice display of habitat. I feel, slight less space on the right would strength the composition further. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.
