Nice take off pose. Good that the eye is not blocked by the twig. The upward wing stroke looks nice. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with the previous comments. It seems that the focus is locked ahead of the wings. The wingspread is nice. I hope nobody scared it away to fly. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,

thank you Mrudul, Saktipada Panigrahi, Sabyasachi patra, and Roopak for comments,

Sabyasachi Patra: It was little far when i first saw this, i stopped my vehicle and started moving very slowly by bending and crawling it was still calmly sitting there and i reached some point slowly with out disturbing it and stopped at one place ans started taking pics, to reach this place it took some 20 min and it was very co-operative, i was taking pics my bum was paining because so may thorns were piercing.. for 10 min i took some shots all of a sudden it look towards me and flew.. initially i thought it flew naturally and turned back to go... there i came to know why it flew suddenly... behind me four guys with camera walking directly with out hiding themselves or bending themselves..:( so it got disturbed by those guys and flew away.among four guys two guys were chasing the bird but it didn't sat any where near, it flew very far.

so many people dont know how to approach the bird or any other animals and simply walk towards the birds and disturb them.
