Nice sighting of a rat snake. Is it from the same series as posted before? How long was the sighting? Did it get into the hole which can be seen on the right? Good you could get it fully. Thanks for sharing.

Mrudul: yes this is from the same series which i have posted previously....
the sighting was almost 5 min after that it went in to the loose soil which you could see in the pic...

Nice to see the rat snake. When the grasslands are converted to gardens and lawns, these snakes have no where to go. It is natural that the rodent population increases exponentially without these snakes.

A little bit more space at the right would have strengthened the composition. Good to see it near a hole in the ground so that one can easily know where the snake gets into. Thanks for sharing.
