thanks friends,..Dr. Ajay,i used canon 300,2.8 with 2x t.c., therefore focal length used is 600mm at 5.6...

Yes, thanks for the info Dr. Katre. With this focal length (600mm x 1.6), are you using stand or you are comfortable with handheld at 1/500s?

Nice to see this one. Tough to get the entire bird in focus from this pose. How much of crop is this? Where was this photographed? It would have been really nice if the head was lighted. Overall this looks nice. Thanks for sharing.

thanks everybody,..Dr. Ajay, i am very much comfortable shooting with this focal length (960 mm) handheld at 1/500 s., in fact i shoot handheld even upto 1/80 s. handheld (credit goes to excellent , 4 stop stabilizer of this lens). for shutter speeds slower than this, i find monopod quite useful.
