Rare find. I agree that including the tail would have been great. Did you click this in vertical or horizontal mode?

Thank You. As I mentioned this was the only clean shot I got, before it started running. Had that shot as well, but blurred. Could not track it properly. It was taken in the horizontal mode.

Very rare sighting. Nice eye contact. As you said it was in the horizontal more, some more space on the left and less at the bottom would be good. Was this photographed in the evening? Thanks for sharing.

Powerful image. Its extreme agility, for which it is so much feared and respected by snakes and rodents, and the details have been very ably documented.

It is the largest of 3 species/subspecies found in our country. It lives on land and normally hunts on trees. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Rare capture indeed.Great work.Very diffficult to photograph.We saw one at Gavi 2 years ago but before somebody could aim the camera it was gone.Congrats

Sankar sab at gavi what u would have seen is a nilgiri marten.... that is one rare mammal and high on my wish list
