Telia cub (syb adult) eating wild boar

Part of a sighting at the crack of dawn in Telia...all the 4 sisters had caught a big wild boar (perhaps along with its mother). This is one of the sisters having her turn at the boar.

Quite rare to see a tiger with a wild boar kill. Good that you could get good eye contact in both the images even with the bushes in the foreground. In the second image, the details and the sharpness is better than in the first one. Seems like lot of action going on in Tadoba. How long was the sighting? Were there lot of gypsy's? Thanks for sharing.

One bummer in Tadoba I felt is the restriction on routes...many,of the routes have been closed after the supreme court ruling. So Wagdoh, Kantejarhi, etc are all out of bounds. The overall bio diversity was a bit low compared to Kanha, Corbett, though very good for tiger and leopard sightings....birds were on the lower side

I feel tigers are partial towards wild boar meat. I like the second image better. It is also slightly sharper than the first image. Wish you had better light. Thanks for sharing.
