Brown shrike

This ismage of a brown shrike was made quite late in the afternoon under heavy shade with the Canon 1Dx and a the EF 500mm f4 IS L with a 2x tele-converter at ISO 4000 f6.3 and 1/1600s. Image had to be further cropped in LR4 and some curve adjustments, noise reduction and sharpening done.

Very nice. The details have come out well. I think slightly more space at the bottom and right side would strengthen the composition. Thanks for sharing.

It was a 1.4x tele-converter and not 2x as incorrectly mentioned. Apologies for the oversight.

Nice eye contact. Liked the details and the composition. I feel a rectangular composition with more space on the right would have enhanced the composition further. Thanks for sharing.
