Tough composition. The bird is in a thin branch and the bigger trunk of the tree passing through the middle of the composition acts as a visual block and the right side beyond the tree becomes the negative space, even though it is in the same direction as the bird. In this case it is better to create a vertical composition.

Good eye contact. The blacks are well exposed. Agree with the above comments, about a vertical composition. Thanks for sharing.

Good eye contact. I admire this bold bird. It saves chicks of many defenceless birds.
One distinctive feature is that it perches straight possibly because it has small legs. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild
