Hi Friends,

If you visit Yeoor Hills now, there is a dried up river with some patches of water left. These water spots have become heaven for butterfly enthusiasts. Butterflies all around in hundreds moving around these water holes.

Sharing one of the images captured of "Sahyadri Commander".

EXIF : Canon 550D, 18-135mm Lens, FL : 135mm, Tv : 1/250, Av: 1/5.6, ISO :200, Full Frame.

Hope you like it .

Lovely colours. Good you got it with the wings fully spread. So were there lot of other butterfly species in that area? Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Mrudul & yes, there were lot of species. I could differentiate at-least 20 of them. Clicked many of these & put a small collection on my facebook page. Regards/ Anil Kumar Verma

This is a lovely butterfly. This image would have benefitted from a narrow aperture. The focus appears to be on the right top wing tip. Thanks for sharing.
