The colours look off. In nature photography we need to be careful about the colours. The eye contact is fine. There appear to be grains due to the high ISO used. Thanks for sharing.

Good eye contact. I agree about the colours. I think a lower ISO and shutter speed would have sufficed in this case. That would have helped to reduce the noise. Do check your white balance setting while clicking and processing the image. Thanks for sharing.

the image seems to have a distinct yellow tint. this is more evident on the body of the bird.
