We could actually not even spot the nightjar as she was sitting comfortably camouflaged between the rocks. Only when our guide Dilip spotted it we could see it. It seemed to be in trance :). It rained the night we saw it and the next day it was still sitting in the same place. Absolutely no movement.

Nikon D7000,f/8,SS 1/320,ISO 200,500mm.full frame.

Pretty interesting birds. Nice to see them in the day time. The angle is fine. Did you upload a large image, as the sharpness seems to be off. Thanks for sharing.

Its a nice and memorable image. It appears to be a male Franklin's Nightjar (Caprimulgus affinis). Nice setting.Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Lovely habitat composition. The low angle looks nice. The composition looks fine. I think you uploaded image more than 300kb, so the software resized it and so the image looks a bit soft. Nice capture. Thanks for sharing.
