Yellow Footed Green Pigeon

Saw a few of these pigeons in Tadoba. This one was perched up a tree along with its brood. Light was a bit harsh.

Nikon D7000,f/8,SS 1/1000,ISO 400,Fl 500mm. Cropped a bit.

Lovely eye contact. Its good that the horizontal twig is not obstructing the eye. Slight less space on the left would enhance the composition further. Thanks for sharing.

It is good that the foreground is relatively uncluttered, except one twig which passes infront of the head. Moving a bit to the right might have helped in avoiding it. Their eyes are beautiful and has come out well here. Thanks for sharing.
