This is surely the most sighted and photographed male this season on the backwaters of River Kabini. This male has large territory around the backwaters side and also a very unusual background for a Tiger habitat. The water is almost dry in most areas of the backwaters I hope we have some rains quickly to replenish the waters holes and water levels at the river come back to normal.

Nice image. The gentle slope upwards makes the terrain look beautiful ; you can get such patch in Kaziranga too near the waterbody but there will be elephant grass close by. The common Myna in the background is in no way concerned. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Nice sighting of the male in the open. So this area is usually under water? Good head turn. Seems it was far, some loss of details. Thanks for sharing.

Its belly seems to be full. Managing well in the dry season.
