Its tail has come out well. The pose is nice. The eye has come out well. I agree that lower angle will always improve the composition and eye contact. From this angle it is very difficult to get the depth of field right, however, you have done a good job. Frontal lighting would have beeng great at brining out details on its neck and head. Thanks for sharing.
