Including the wings in full and giving more space around will be nice. most of the bird is in shadows. pls give the exif info also

Nice eye contact. Agree with Roopak, about the space. The light was difficult. Please post the equipment and EXIF details. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with the previous comments. Unless you give the details of the camera, lens, aperture, shutter speed, ISO and the amount of crop, it will be difficult to give proper critiques.

The image is tight and the wings have been cutoff. The basic principle of wildlife images is to leave space in the direction the animal is looking or moving or the birds is flying.

This is an against the light scenario, so the eye contact is not there. It is important to note the light direction and position oneself while photographing.
