Spotted this beauty glide over us during the recent trip to the coastal area of Anjarle, near Harihareshwar. It was just flamboyant and huge as compared to the kite. Though I couldn't get a clear and sharp image of the same. I guess its a Fish eagle, but am not clear of its specific ID.

EXIF:
Canon EOS550D
Canon 55-250IS
F/5.6
Shutterspeed 1/1250
ISO 100
Handheld
Location Anjarle hill

Am sure its not a Vulture, probably seems similar to White bellied Sea eagle, but I may be wrong too.
Shall be looking for confirmation from few expert members...

Adult White-bellied Sea Eagle. Agree with Roopak Bhai and Prajwal Bhai. It is a formidable coastal hunter. The full flight image is impressive. It flies very high and nests away from coast or river. Common sight in certain parts of the Sundarbans. Famed for its devotion. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

P.S.: In our Natural History column Krishnan's article on this bird has been reproduced.

Nice to see this bird in flight. We had last year sighted this bird in the Sundarbans. A bit more light ie positive exposure compensation would have given more details on the underparts as the image is a bit underexposed. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,
