Shot this image during my Tadoba trip last month. The light was a bit tweaky but managed to get this shot.Cropped a bit for composition. Havent been posting off late since am in the US. While India is roasting in summer, we have been getting snow storms here....

This is the Hawk Cuckoo better known as the 'Brainfever Bird'. I like the eye contact. The image feels a bit soft. Did you upload a file larger than 300 kb?

Oh still snowing in US? I thought it might be spring now there.
Nice sighting of this bird. I liked the eye contact. Agree the image seems a bit soft, is this a big crop? Thanks for sharing.

I remember the thrill that I had got in my childhood days when I first came to know that this is the brain fever bird that was mentioned so often in Kenneth Anderson's books. The eye contact is fine. Agree with the other comments. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,
