Rare and beautiful. Its nice that you have chosen an angle to record and display the full details.
I have been visiting this 'Koyal's Bagan' for last 15-20 years even before it was notified. This small sanctuary is already disturbed after construction of the bye-pass. This year a lot of problems have been created to the nesting birds by a few new-generation photographers. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

Wow nice to get it so close. Its good the eyes are open. The low angle and the details look good. Did you try any more compositions with it more parallel to the frame? Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Sakti-da, I found two of them at Koyaler Bagan.

Not sure but unknowingly even I might have wandered near their nesting area. I will make sure I keep the distance and donot disturb them in their habitat.

Thanks Mrudul,

There were two of them at CKBS. This is a parallel composition of the 2nd one.

Mashiur Bhai,
No, no, never. It has nothing to do with a responsible and disciplined young man like you.
It is about a few people entering the bushes and undergrowth to have close ups of chicks in the nests inside bushes, may be with mother feeding. In the process it may so happen that the mother may abandon the nest and chicks.

Kind regards,
SaktiWild

The first image has a nice pose.

We are not attributing any motives here. Just that we try to remind people that welfare of the subject is more important than a few photographs. Before auto focus and high ISO films were invented, most of the photography of birds were done by people close to their nests. And lot of birds abandoned their eggs as well as chicks due to the closer approach. Slowly people started becoming conscious.

However, in India, we still find photographers who try to disturb the birds to get a flight shot or cut off branches to get a clear view of nest. So we don't encourage people to post images of birds in nest.

When a person is using a long lens from a distance, the chances of disturbance minimises. However, there are some birders and bird photographers who noisily stamp on the bushes to flush out birds. Ground nesting birds and their chicks will be at a problem in these situations.
