We saw this croc near the banks of the lake at Tadoba. We thought that it would come out and we could see it in the open but it remained where it was. Was slightly away, cropped to get a pano like feel. The habitat was nice but there were quite a few distracting branches.

Nice sighting of a crocodile in Tadoba. Usually all focus is on the Tiger, so we miss to notice the other wildlife which is equally important. Thanks for sharing.

Good sighting of Marsh crocodile in the lake. It might have laid eggs near the edge at the root of a tree and guarding them. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

I remember a board near the lake saying that swimming and bathing is prohibited. Survivors will be prosecuted. I think I last stayed in that FRH on 2007 before it was closed to public.

I also think that this crocodile might be guarding its eggs. If it is not vigilant, then the eggs will be eaten away by mongoose, monitor lizards and even storks.
