Aged Bison

My Tadoba sojourn continues.... Spotted this aged Bison walking by the road unperturbed by the safari gypsies. He was really walking slow, reasons could have been either he was hurt or he was old. Could not see any visible marks of injury anywhere hence assumed he's old. He kind of looks a bit old too :). Observed him for a while and then left.

Interesting shape of its horns as it is kind of flat and pointed towards the sides. It has faced many a battle and has moved on to the autumn of his life. Looks a bit frail. Thanks for sharing.

Agree with Patra sab on the shape of the horns.... I remember seeing some other pics from tadoba with similar horn shape. wonder if it is the same animal.
