Just came back after a 4 day trip to Bandipur. As always, I could meet a few old friends and then made some new ones :)
We saw this huge male resting on a late morning, and the first thing I did was to grab the wide angle lens. I also tried shooting with the big 300, but he was so close that it was a fight to even fit him in the frame :) A good meal, a small puddle of water, some much needed shade, and a pleasant breeze- this Tiger sure had an enviable morning that day!

Nice to see it resting peacefully. Good that you choose to make a wide angle composition to include the surroundings. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

Had been to bandipur and returned today...........................had no luck with stripes.Now i thik this is the only tiger in bandipur which is not scard of tourists.
