After going in circles and no news or trace of any tiger, we have decided to go to Tadoba lake and click images of birds. When we got there, we came across a jeep and the people in the jeep had mentioned about a Tigress crossing road and walking into woods near by a few mins back.

They gave up after 10 mins wait and left, but we stayed on hoping to see the tigress come back, and after 20 mins wait we were the only jeep and this lady walks back from the woods towards the water and gives an half an hour photo session.

Nice crouching pose. Good eye contact. She was drinking water from the small puddle in the front? Was the lake behind, in the background? Thanks for sharing.

There is a huge lake behind her but she chose to drink water from this small water hole..

Ya maybe here in this small puddle the water might be cold and there was shade.

Nice sighting. The pose is good. The image needs more brightness. The tiger is in shade and is underxposed. You need to be careful while exposing subjects in shade, the focus locks on to the area of maximum contrast. The grass ahead of the tiger seems to be in focus. So the tiger doesn't appear sharp. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,

Nice crouching pose of the tiger. We went around the lake many times (in march) but could not sight a tiger near it. Lucky that you got to spot. Now that its summer the water holes must be giving nice views of the animals. Thanks for sharing.

The pose is really new to me and looks very interesting. As because she has decided to quench her thirst from the narrow nullah, she has to go for the 'Asana'. I agree with Madam Mrudul that water would be less warmer there. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild
