This frame was clicked while me, along with few friends, were returning from the birding point at Matheran. We had decided to walk all the way down and hence chose the railway track route (Matheran- neral route) and while descending we came across this beautiful sight. Though a lot of the greenery has dried off yet the sight was worth capturing. Also had to try out HDR photography and thought this sight would be a good start for it.

EXIF:

Canon EOS 550D
Canon 18-55 IS
Shutterspeed 1/160(1/50 and 1/500) (Bracketed shot)
F-16
ISO 200
Handheld shot

Photograph has been edited for HDR in Photomatrix and few corrections in Photoshop.

Nice attempt for HDR image. In fact in HDR images you should recover the details in light as well dark area. Here the sky is still overexposed, please check other options in Photomatix. Also it is advisable to use stand for sharp images, bracketing 2 stops is better and more than 3 images (if possbile) gives even better result. Thanks for sharing the image.

The Shayadri mountain range looks nice. Agree the light is a bit harsh. There seem to be some dust spots at the top of the frame, you can clean the sensor. Nice composition. Thanks for sharing.

What time did you click this?

I am yet to see an early morning shot here. This will look good just after the first rain of the season.
