The Black-chinned Laughingthrush

The Black-chinned Laughingthrush (Trochalopteron cachinnans) is a species of Laughingthrush endemic to the high elevation areas of the Nilgiris and adjoining hill ranges in Peninsular India.

Exif : Canon 7d + 400 2.8 ISL , F:8, 1/320, -2/3 Stop, ISO 500, , Eval Metering, Held by Benro GH2 head + Manfroto 681B Monopod.

Nice to see this bird. The details have come out well. Because of the side on position, the depth of field is fine. The eye contact is nice. Is this crop or full frame image?

Nice to see another 400 2.8. Is it the new version or previous? Thanks for sharing.

Thanks mrudul and sabyasachi..well this is an old 400 2.8 which I bought in second hand, I love every bit of that glass and this is almost a full frame image.
