I clicked this image while at Tadoba in April-13. Havent been able to post much as I have been traveling a lot off late. Even now as I post this image I am in Southern Africa (Malawi), with very less internet connectivity. But the best part is am close to the jungle and have already seen the 3 of the big five (lion, elephant, hippo) apart from other mammals and birds and hope to spot the others over the coming weekend or the next.

The sandgrouse had camouflaged itself very nicely amidst the rocks. It was sitting close to the gypsy but we could spot it only after it flew away.

Quite well camouflaged in the rocks. Good eye contact. Its good the grass blade is not blocking the eye. Thanks for sharing.

Nice to see this one. The habitat has come out well. Since you were using the 500mm, a higher shutter speed would have been better. So you could have increased the ISO from 200. Thanks for sharing.
