Monitor lizards can stay still for long time if you don't disturb them. Good pose and eye contact. Wish the tail tip was not cut. An off-centered composition with less space on the left and more on the right in the direction it is looking would have enhanced the composition further. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with Mrudul. Where was this photographed? Did you click this from a vehicle? If so, it is better to ask the driver to move away and click this from a distance so that the angle becomes better. Light seems to be low. Thanks for sharing.
