thnx for the reviews...ya a bit of sharpening is used...i guess the too much noise is due to the pic was a bit dark and brightness has been increased...

You are using noise reduction. So all the details are lost. They you are doing over sharpening which results in creation of artifacts which some mistake for sharpness.

I am surprised to hear that the image is not cropped. These days the exposure meter of the cameras are so good that if you don't crop, then the background will not be underexposed by a great deal as in this case. The underexposed portions will hold very less details. Did you use digital zoom?

In this image the tail has been cutoff. In birds, since there is hardly any sharp joint visible except the knee joint, it becomes difficult to get a pleasing composition if you cut off a part of the bird. So a wider composition here would have been better.

If you can share the image straight out of the camera without cropping or doing any processing, then we can give suggestions.

thnx for ur generous reviews...posting the original image...it wasn't taken from a high end camera, just a advanced ps...i guess my original image didn't had much details too...but yes, did poor work on pp...

waiting for ur valuable suggestions...
