Nice eye contact. The clean background looks good. If it is cropped from bottom you could have kept some more space to include the tail feathers in full. Some noise in the background. Was any sharpening done? Thanks for sharing.

It is important to have some more space at the bottom to get the complete tail as well as more separation between the top frame and the head. The sharpening artifacts are visible.

How are you calculating the crop percentage?

With ISO 100 and 30% crop one should not get so much noise.

When you are shooting to do a large crop, it is very important that the subject should be adequately exposed.

I calculate the crop percentage as p.s.5.1 shows in it's window.

Since I don't use it, can you tell us what is the final cropped dimension of the image (horizontal and vertical) before exporting?

The 60D image files in the highest resolution are 5184 (horizontal) x3456 (vertical) pixels. If you can tell us the pixels in the horizontal and vertical after crop, then we can tell you the percentage.
