there is a popular misconception among common tourist that the best time to visit a forest is during the dry months of the year...but i beg to differ,firstly there is no season for a jungle like no holiday for the word mom.,but if at all there is anything it ought to be the early monsoon...with the fresh twigs and buds, the green is as charming as anything can be.whether the carpet of grasses benaeth or the canopy above its only the variety of greens.

Lovely colours. Moving a bit more to the left would have been good. The greens look nice.

The dry season is good to sight bigger mammals who come to the water holes during summer. The monsoons are always great to enjoy the feel of the jungle and also for photographing Macros. Thanks for sharing.

The colours look nice. From this angle it would be difficult to get the entire body covered by depth of field.

I agree that during monsoons, the green covering makes it lively.
