At 1/30, the details are quite good, though better light and a higher SS would have got you a lot more sharpness and details.

The side on profile shows the muscular body nicely. The composition looks fine. Agree with Rajan, a higher ISO and shutter speed would have given more details. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

Nice to see a big fellow. In the salt licks it becomes a bit difficult if you are shooting against the light as the mud and water becomes bright and often distracts. Pulling up the shadows in the face doesn't work well for the gaur. Thanks for sharing.
