I remember this scene. I am happy to see the 28-135 mm lens put to good use. The catchlight in the eye makes it better. You have rightly given a positive compensation else, the subject would have been darker.

A less acute angle would have been better. But with a small lens one needs to go closer.

I had taken the previous shots w/o EV compensation.. you told me to do so after that.. and then i got this shot :) . This one was with the 18-55. had to crop for composition

Wish you had got it from a higher angle. Otherwise a good image.

I don't mind the full frame... in fact the cloud formation that looks like it "bridges the gap" between the tree tops looks interesting. What's the white thing at the bottom though?

The white thing is a Cattle Egret...
