Baby Monkey

Captured during the last visit to Sanjay Gandhi National Park. We came across a troop of monkeys around a group of houses. They initially searched for any form of food, gulped them and later had a day's break on the roof top, in the noon.Among them was a very curious and hyper active baby. One of the snaps of the lot.

Most of the roof top area was covered with the shade of dense trees, except for few areas, as for this frame, hence the ISO was at 800. Also helped in capturing few heavy action sequences among the group.

Baby monkeys have very human like expressions. Nice pose and good eye contact. The lighting was difficult and a bit harsh. The composition looks fine. Thanks for sharing.

Nice pose. You need to tweak the white balance a bit. These days we find less monkeys in the forests and more in human habitations.
