Nice sighting of this pair. The catch light looks good. They are so well camouflaged in the tall grass. I feel a rectangular framing would be better. Thanks for sharing.

Roopak : This was taken in Hesaraghatta... every time i go there i saw them but till now i don't have good picture of those Bcoz they are so shy by the time you take out camera they go inside bush.

The best way to photograph these birds in hessarghatta is to wait near some of these bushes. You can't chase them and photograph. Slightest movement like the opening of a car door will make them run away.
I remember seeing them in the evening in Satyamangalam. They were resting on the road. We could move very close to them, virtually a few feet. Ofcourse, in such situations the angle becomes steep.
