Nice to see the tiger against a background of rocky terrain,a change from the forest greenery which is usually his enviornment and habitat.TFS

Nice pose and alert look. I liked the composition. The rocky terrain gives an idea of the dry habitat in Ranathambore national park. Good details. Was the rainfall good there this time? Thanks for sharing.

Mrudul , thnx for your comments. YES plenty of rain fall this time in the park. I'm looking fwd to be there in Nov-13 to look for This guy (Sultan) , he will be on his way by now and looking for a space / territory for himself in the park.
With so many male dominant tigers in the park , it will be interesting to see where he accommodate himself.

Nice to see a tiger from ranthambhore. There are some sharpening artifacts visible in the face. Is this a cropped image? Less space on the right and more on the left would have strengthened the composition.

Do you have auto ISO on in your camera? How do you process your images?

Picture is not cropped, however a bit of sharpening is done using DPP.Auto ISO was ON in this case.
