After long time I made some time to do some birding within Bangalore. I positioned myself on a shore, I immersed my monopod in water( as much as i can) then managed to get a ground level shot.

Recently I calibrated my Gear, I see a lot of difference in IQ after Calibration. See here to know more about Calibration. (http://tinyurl.com/6e4yng)

Exif : Canon 7d + 400 2.8 ISL + 2x III TC , Av mode, F:5.6, -2/3 stop, 1/1250,
ISO 400, Eval Metering, Monopod Held.

Black is really beautiful in nature as is certainly proved by this image of the cormorant! TFS

Beautiful image. There is a slight tilt in the frame which is evident from the waterline, however, this seems to add to the composition from a mood perspective.

Lovely details, especially with a TC. Thanks for sharing

Lovely wing spread. Nice details. Agree with Rajan, there seems to be a slight tilt. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.
