It is always fascinating to observe the behavior of owlets, mainly because of their adorable child-like appeal. I spotted a few spotted owlets in Bangalore that were living in a huge tree, well isolated from public and a tree that primarily gave them good skin cover. The expressions they created while sensing me before them were very amusing.
This, one, sleepy owlet was on the other side of the tree. As soon as I noticed it, the bird closed one eye for a moment. I observed it doing that many times after which it slowly went to sleep. A day well spent for me :)

Nice behavior captured. I agree with Roopak, a vertical framing would have been good as presently the out of focus trunk on the right forms a major portion of the frame. Liked the direct stare. Please post the EXIF details with the image, to help in commenting. Thanks for sharing.
