I can only imagine the chagrin and disappointment of the safari enthusaists in the two vehicles who just managed to see the tail of this magnificent tiger- the Panderpouni male disappear into the bushes.Better luck next time! Nikon 3200,55-300mm fl 100mm iso450, 1/500s f/4.5.

I like the image especially because the massive male is 'oblivious of human existence' while crossing the forest road.
The dinosaur-sized Saltwater Crocodile of the Sundarbans treated our launch in the same way.
The huge Tusker of Manas simply ignored our large truck after blocking the forest road with branches and continued his lunch.
Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Saktipadaji you have hit the nail on the head. This was exactly why I posted this image.I was impressed by this majestic animals' total disregard for our presence. He was the king, we were the intruders, and he was gracefully tolerating us.Thanks for underststanding.

These tigers have got accustomed to human presence. However, even in places like Bandhavgarh where tigers have no respite from tourism, there individual tigers who runaway on sighting a vehicle. In other areas where there is more poaching pressure as well as disturbance due to anthropogenic pressures, the wildlife become nocturnal.

We are allowing too many vehicles into our forests.
