Past weekend I had been to a local creek area, just to extend my reverse lens Macro exploration. While the location, late in evening, was brightened up due to the variety of butterflies, moths and the helicopters, i.e. Dragon and damselflies, I accidentally came across a decently big, close to 50-60 cm wide, signature spider web and for an instance when I was changing my focus from the winged beauties to the octa-legged wonder a Grey pansy moved close to the web and unfortunately got tangled onto it. Immediately the spider grasped it and after a moment of wait started knitting web all over it until the agile angel became a ball of web. The whole process was worth watching, though it was sad to witness the killing of the beautiful butterfly. The spider later went back to the center of the web and waited calmly for the net prey.

Nice behavior captured. It might be quite an experience to see the whole sequence of events. Nice composition. Thanks for sharing.
