Beautiful capture of a rare bird. The harsh light has almost made it a 'High Key' image, but actually adds to the photograph. Did you also try a vertical ?

Nice perch. Good eye contact. Agree with Rajan, a vertical would have been better here as that would have helped to avoid the bright out of focus area on the right. The f10 has helped to get more details. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like a large crop. The eye contact is fine. Tough scene to click this bird against the canopy. We can only wish that you get it next time at a lower angle and closer to you. That would be really nice. Thanks for sharing.
