Spider

I've not been much of the 'Macro Clan' but my daughter has been a lot into it. On a recent shoot (Kabini) i tried to get a hang of her new Macro Lens with a spider (don't know its name or ID).

A giant wood spider (Nephila sp). These are known for their huge webs, and also for keeping those webs tidy... should a leaf fall on it, the spider meticulously cuts out that part of the web and rebuilds it. :)
