This ideally would be a throw away image... But the blur in this shot somehow gave me a feel of motion and aggression...

You're right about the motion blur, but I guess it would have been better if the environment was relatively sharp. Exclusion of the foreground branches would also have enhanced the image, though that seems a bit difficult.
If I'm not mistaken you had posted a picture of the same calf some time back...?
