Almost full frame image giving me little leeway for composition. But loved the pose and the tiger drinking water. Comments/criticism, as always, very welcome.

Eq used: Canon 7D, 300mm f4 IS

Nice pose. It shows how water is important not only for the large charismatic wildlife but also for smaller bugs and bees.

If you want to retain the same portion of the tiger's body in the image then a wider composition with more space at the left ie. in the direction it is facing would enhance the composition. Right now the focus goes towards the front shoulder. Less space at the right would have also strengthened the composition. Do you have more space in the original composition? Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

Hi Sabyasachi,
How I wished I had a 70-200 for this. I have maybe shaved a cm from below and right. There is no space what so ever in the frame.

Deepak

Nice, the bees add a lot to the frame. agree framing the tiger upto the shoulder and more space infront will enhance the compo, but i guess that will also show more of the man made tank?? which will be a kill joy.tough choice.

Nice drinking pose. Agree the bees add interest to the composition. The low angle looks good. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely frame with the bees hovering and the Tiger in the "background" :-)
On a more serious note, I like the composition and the tongue out pose. Did you see the Tiger getting stung by any chance?
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks everybody.
Bibhav, no stinging. The tiger and the bees were happily sharing the water body. The tourists were the ones stinging (disturbing :)) the tiger :)
