This image is a beginning of a series I have posted in the natural history section. Its been shot with a Nikon Coolpix last year in April late evening. It was towards the end of our safari we were dejected, tired and hot when we chanced upon her and she proceeded to give us some fascinating glimpses of her life.

Nice environmental shot. The rocky approach and the waterline provide a stark contrast. Wish she did turn towards you and the picture would have been even better.

The colours of the tigress and the habital look natural, in my view. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

I agree with Rajan that a head turn would have been better. In this case the tiger is looking away from the frame. A wider composition would have showcased the habitat better. Thanks for sharing.

Nice to see her relaxing in the water. Liked the habitat. There seems to be some noise in the image. Thanks for sharing.
